PAINTED MAIL

14612 NE 174th St, Woodinville, WA (map)

I've known this family since kindergarten. They emailed me first and then I went over to their house. It happened to be Thanksgiving so there was no school and they were super inviting. We had a long conversation about what could go on the mailbox and what colors to use. In the past I remember they had a mailbox with a train painted on it, but it wasn't there for that long. She said they had had issues with vandalism so they wanted to figure out the right color.

They have always had lots of animals, particularly dogs, so we decided to have paw prints on one side. Music is a big part of their family so we decided to have music notes on the other side. The mom wanted sun and moon as well so I put them on the top.
